Site specific and movement. How the space narrate a story

This cycle of 11 classes will offer a platform for the people willing to explore movement and somatic actions in the cinematographic field.
A training will be given at the beginning of each class, based on Butoh and theatrical technic, open to anyone and with no specific level requested about moving viability. Tools will be given so as to prepare the body and develop the kinetic potential of each one.
This practice will be linked with site specific exploration. Following a specific methodology of research about in and out doors sites, we will see how to investigate a space and use it as a narrative argument by including somatic actions. During all this period, several subjects of research will be offered with both following directions : Having a kinetic scenario and find the appropriate site, or having the site and find the appropriate kinetic scenario.
In a more cinematographic dimension, we will focus on the meaning and use of the centring,
the importance of the “point of view” and the way to insert movement so as to enlighten the
dramaturgic intention.
